- Goods and Services Tax
Depending on residency or location, Bricoly charges the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to those who purchase services on Bricoly, unless you provide a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and acknowledge that you’re registered for GST. GST will be assessed on the total amount of the order.
Notes:
- If you have a Bricoly shopping balance, as a result of a refund, GST will not be assessed on orders equal to or less than your balance.
- If your order is cancelled, GST will be returned to your original payment source (and not your shopping balance).
How do I enter my Australian business number
You can add your 11-digit ABN and confirm that you are registered for GST by clicking your username, and then selecting Settings > Billing. For more information, see Adding Billing Information.
Until you enter your valid ABN and you’ve acknowledged you’re registered for GST, Bricoly will charge GST. This means that a GST charge will show up on any invoices occurring before your valid ABN is successfully saved to your profile and you’ve acknowledged you’re registered for GST. We can’t refund you this amount. If you have an ABN and are registered for GST, please enter your tax Information to avoid being charged.
Calculating GST
GST will be applied to applicable Bricoly fees, including the Bricoly processing fee. This tax will be collected by Bricoly and remitted to the Australian Taxation Office, unless you provide a valid ABN number and acknowledge that you’re registered for GST.
