Services Packages are a powerful tool that give sellers the freedom to price their Services while also providing better clarity and efficiency to the selling process. We’re happy to announce that improved Packages are now live in QA.
This article is designed to provide additional detail on the Package Attributes available to use, as well as service types – an important new tool that will improve the experience for both sellers and buyers!
What Are Package Attributes?
Package attributes are the features that can be bundled into a Service Package. They have been predefined by Bricoly after careful analysis of each subcategory, and they reflect the most commonly offered services and add-ons.
What Are The Package Attributes In This Subcategory?
Here is an example of a well structured package in this subcategory. Underneath it, you’ll see descriptions of each related Package Attribute.

- Browser Compatibility Test: With this attribute you offer to make sure that the website/product is compatible with all of the browsers (e.g. Chrome, IE9, Safari, Firefox)
- Responsiveness Test: This is a test to check if the buyer’s website/product is responsive and loads well in different types and sizes of mobile devices.
- Annotated Screen Shots: This is a more advanced deliverable for the buyer that can be included in your report (or can be a standalone deliverable). Use this attribute if you plan to provide the buyer annotated screenshots highlighting specific issues in the buyer’s site/product.
- Summary Report: A written report highlighting issues and providing recommendations regarding the UX of a site/product. This is one possible deliverable for your Service.
- Usability Test: Use this attribute if you plan to offer to test the buyer’s website/product like a first time user, to try and understand if the intended flow and the actual user flow is similar.
- Functionality Test: If you offer this attribute you will test the functionality of the buyer’s website/product. Does it work the way it was meant to work? Are all of the links correct. Does the button lead to where it needs to? Does the chat work?
- Performance/Load Test: This attribute should be used if you offer to test if the buyer’s website/product behaves as expected under normal and peak load.
- Vulnerability Test: This should be used to avoid any mistakes or weakness in the system security procedures, design, implementation or any internal control that may result in the violation of system’s security policy.
- Screen Recording: This is the most advanced deliverable and allows the buyer to watch your screen. You can define the amount of recording time in this feature and should provide both visual and narration explaining what you are thinking while you are testing the feature or website.
- Delivery Time: This one is pretty self-explanatory! Set the default delivery time for each package. You can create an “extra fast” option (with different delivery times and prices for each package) in the “My Service Extras” section of the Service Edit Screen.
