The Bricoly website contains some Bricoly-specific terms. Use the following Glossary to learn the common terms and their meaning:
Buyer
A registered user who can purchase Gigs on Bricoly.com.
BYOB
The Bring Your Own Business (BYOB) program is a Bricoly initiative that offers a way to manage your client projects, free of commission. BYOB helps our top sellers and exposes new customers to other services.
Customer Offers
Additional offers that you can send to buyers, based on a request from a buyer or a conversation. This is one of the best ways for you to increase buyer satisfaction and your own business.

Dashboard
This area shows the statistical numbers associated with your activity on Bricoly, and has a list of “To Do’s” to remind you of actions needed to take (i.e., deliver an order, respond to a message, etc.).
Featured
A Gig that is listed on the homepage or a specific category page, with the “Featured” banner visible on the thumbnail of the Gig. You cannot apply or request to be “Featured”. Featured Gigs are recommended by the Bricoly team.
Bricoly Anywhere
This feature allows you to take Bricoly business anywhere – on your blog, Facebook, via messages, and much more. You can start by customizing an offer, and then generate the code (to be placed on your blog, Facebook, etc.).

Bricoly Pro
Verified Pro sellers are hand-picked by the Bricoly team as best-in-class talents. Bricoly Pro sellers enjoy better search exposure for buyers looking for professional services, faster payment clearance times, higher price limits, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and more.
Bricoly Revenues Card
A debit card powered by MasterCard, which allows you to load the card with Bricoly revenue and then use it as a regular credit card.

- Job / Service
Any service offered by you on Bricoly’s website, which any buyer can purchase with the click of a button. For example, a Gig can be “I will create a logo design for $50”.
- Job Extras
This is the option to offer additional services within the same Gig. For example, if you offer a caricature (head and shoulders) drawing for $25, the Gig Extras could offer a full body caricature for an additional $15, or two people in the caricature for an additional $20, etc.

- Job Metadata
This is a feature that allows you to specify details of your Gig in the form of a keyword. This will help widen your Gig’s exposure when buyers search for services relevant to your Gig on Bricoly. For example, Metadata in voiceover Gigs can be the language of the voiceover, the accent, or the file type delivered to the buyer.

- Levels
You can obtain different levels based on your performance, level of service, and sales. There are three levels you can reach.

- Milestones
You can use Milestones when working on larger, more complex projects. Milestones ensures you will receive payment for the tasks you completed during the project, in turn allowing buyers to establish trust in your services and work in steps to ensure satisfaction.

- Multiples
This option enables buyers to order multiple quantities of the same Gig. For example, if you offer a basic logo design for $10, a buyer who needs two different logos can order this Gig twice (for $20).
- Mutual Cancellation
A Mutual Cancellation is a request to cancel an order and can be initiated by both buyers and sellers during the order process. It must be accepted by both parties. Mutual cancellations will automatically cancel an order after two days if the receiving party doesn’t reply to the request. Both buyers and sellers will see a cancellation request update on the progress bar with how many days there is left before the order is canceled, and have the option to abort the cancellation to return it to the previous order status. Mutual Cancellations cannot be requested after an order is complete.

- Order
When a buyer purchases a Gig, it’s considered an order.
Out of Office Mode
When you’re about to leave on vacation, or just need some time off, you can use Out of Office Mode to let buyers know that you’re away and when you’ll return.
- Packages
This is a way for you to offer three different scope levels at three different price factors for a single Gig.

- Post a Request
This is a way for buyers to post a service they are looking for to the seller community. You scan the Buyer Requests area and send offers to the relevant buyers. It’s a great way for buyers to get propositions from different sellers, and for you to get work.

- Response Rate
This shows how quickly you respond to the first message received from a buyer within the first 24 hours.

- Revisions
This is an optional feature that allows the buyer to make remarks and provide feedback on the Gig you are currently working on (until they are 100{4b6d36c003a2247c1de8bd47b264827864570e22126235451d185653ee8f94a7} satisfied).

- Revenue
This is the money you earn from completed orders.

- Tags
Tags are keywords that you add to your Gigs to help categorize the Gig for search purposes.

Top Rated Sellers (TRS)
These are sellers selected manually by Bricoly moderators based on a list of criteria, including seniority, volume of sales, extremely high rating, exceptional customer care and community leadership. Top Rated Sellers gain access to more extensive features, including exclusive access to beta features and VIP support.
